On Thursday 25 September, a group of Disabled Peoples Organisations (DPOs) and civil society organisations working on inclusive education met with 35 members of parliament (MPs) from different political parties in Nay Pyi Taw. The purpose of the meeting was to advocate for the inclusion of Disability Inclusive Education in the National Education Law. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Welfare also attended. The event was organised by Eden School for Disabled Children and was sponsored by the Myanmar Education Consortium.
