The 2015 Annual Education Conference was held on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November.
It was co-sponsored and organised by the British Council, Myanmar Education Consortium (MEC), the Monastic Education Development Group (MEDG), Pyinnya Tazaung Association, Pyoe Pin and the Ministry of Education (MoE). The conference theme was Learning outcomes for the 21st Century.
This was the fifth annual conference and was well-attended, with 285 participants in total. It had excellent representation from the MoE, education colleges, institutes of education, state schools, ethnic education organisations, monastic education, civil society organisations and private institutions. It was an exceptional event for all education actors to share, learn and form networks for collaboration.
