Advocacy team of Myanmar Education Consortium (MEC) conducted Basic Advocacy Training for one of MEC’s Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) partners, Language and Social Development Organisation (LSDO) from 14 to 15 July 2016 at LSDO head office in Yangon.
This is the first advocacy training of MEC for the partner. There were 3 participants from MEC and 20 from LSDO.
The program introduced effective advocacy process along with strategic approaches and tactics for the trainees to practically apply on sketching their organization’s advocacy strategic plan on the final day of the training.
MEC is supporting the advocacy capacity of partners to strengthen their effective contribution in the implementation of effective policy and institutional frameworks in Myanmar.
