Meikswe Myanmar distributed 500 student kits for Internally Displaced Person (IDP) students in the conflict-affected areas of Mae Tha Waw, Hpa-an and Pupun district in Kayin State in December 2016 with the support of Myanmar Education Consortium (MEC) . The student kits were provided for primary level students.
Each kit is wrapped in a Penang bag including exercise books, pencils, erasers, rulers, a pencil case, a T-shirt, a school bag, a lunch box, a water container, a sharpener, a pair of rubber slipper and an umbrella/raincoat.
“Children are very happy to receive the student kits,” said one of the field staffs from Meikswe Myanmar.
