MEC Education team facilitated the School Improvement Workshop (Broad based capacity development for School Improvement) to strengthen the capacity of staff from the Mon National Education Committee (MNEC) at Mawlamyine in the last week of February.
MEC Education team facilitated the School Improvement Workshop (Broad based capacity development for School Improvement) to strengthen the capacity of staff from the Mon National Education Committee (MNEC) at Mawlamyine in the last week of February. Including the Assistant Township Education Officer, Assistant District Education Officer and total eight staffs from the MNEC attended and the workshop was led by the MEC Education Coordinator and SIP Consultant.
The purpose of the workshop is to build capacity on ‘School Improvement Planning (SIP) for partners and help them to identify what they want to prioritise and take forward, as well as integrate into their existing school improvement plans.
MEC’s role is to take a lead in providing the technical assistance on School Improvement planning to partners and coordinating with them for SIP further support. After School Improvement foundation workshops, each partner will learn the various concept of School Improvement, they will make their own detailed design of school improvement and identify their School Improvement priorities for the next steps.
