Over the past two weeks, as part of MEC’s Broad Based Capacity Development program for MTB-MLE, 30 participants from MEC partner organizations- the Center for Rural Education and Development (CRED), the Mon National Education Committee (MNEC), the Karenni Education and Development Network (KnEDN) and Kayan New Generation Youth (KNGY)-have been taking part in Curriculum Framework Review trainings.
Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, the events were successfully organized via Zoom, to focus on teams’ work on a KG/G1 Curriculum Framework and following a Curriculum Development Workshop held early this year. These trainings help strengthen team members’ confidence and skills in the development of first language- based materials, with mentors providing guidance, feedback and support.
