Finance and Grants Team of Myanmar Education Consortium (MEC) conducted 2-day Financial Refresher Training from 16 to 17 of August 2016 in Yangon. It was for newly recruited and selected finance staff from 5 partner organisations; Hope for Shining Stars (S4SK), Pyinnya Tazaung Association (PTZA), Kayan New Generation Youth (KNGY), Meikswe Myanmar (MM) and Language and Social Development Organisation (LSDO). There are all together (14) participants.
Training courses include the principals of internal control, financial reporting for multi-currency and multi-donor project, budget monitoring and compliance with MEC’s financial requirements.
At the end of the training, finance staff who are working with multi-donor projects will understand how to manage their day to day operation in order to meet their organisational procedure and requirements of donors.
