JOB TITLE: Consultant (Translator)

We are currently inviting motivated and talented individuals to apply for Consultant (Translator for Roster) position based in Home-based, Yangon / and other location.

Reporting to the Partnership Program Coordinator, the translators will translate written documents from English into Burmese or an ethnic language (Mon) into English. In some cases, the translator will act as an interpreter to provide simultaneous oral translation during meetings, workshops and training as required.

Number of working days and rate: Translators will be contracted on the basis of an average of 50% LOE per month for a period of 6 months, with workplans for each month agreed at the start of the month. Extension/Level of Effort beyond this period will be re-assessed after 5 months.

The position will be opened until a qualified candidate is identified.

JOB TITLE: Education Technical Lead

We are currently inviting motivated and talented individuals to apply for Education Technical Lead
position based in Head Office, Yangon.

Working closely with the Head of Education, the Education Technical Leads will work to contribute to the development and implementation of education initiatives through MEC and across partners. As part of an education team, each technical lead will be responsible for providing regionally focused education-based technical support to partners. The Technical Lead will collaborate closely with the Monitoring, Accountability, Evaluation and Learning Manager to ensure that programme learning, external analysis and insights inform and contribute to evidence-based programme planning and policy and advocacy.

JOB TITLE: Education Technical Lead

We are currently inviting motivated and talented individuals to apply for Awards Manager position based in Head Office, Yangon.

This role will work collaboratively with MEC leadership, Save the Children Awards team, partners and across all departments of the MEC programme to ensure smooth management of the MEC awards portfolio and associated sub awards. The post holder will work with others to ensure that the MEC programme adheres to all its award management obligations internally within Save the Children and externally with donors. In the event of a major emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
