Asia Partnership Learning Meeting

Partnership is at the core of Save the Children’s Theory of Change. It commits us to work with children, civil society organizations, communities, governments and the private sector to share knowledge, influence others and build capacity to ensure children’s rights are met.

On this background, SC Bangladesh hosted a regional partnership workshop in Cambodia in cooperation with the Asia Regional Office and SC Cambodia from 27 to 29 September 2016. The following points are the main objectives of the workshop.

  • To introduce and discuss the Global Partnership Framework.
  • To share the status, experiences and good practices in partnership work, identity further support needs and ways to get this support
  • To share tools and methods among countries
  • To establish a regional platform for experience sharing and learning based on regional and country focal points

As Myanmar Education Consortium (MEC) is hosted by Save the Children, Daw Hlaing Yin Win, Partnership Program Manager, of MEC participated and presented the partnership model, good practices and challenges of MEC in the regional partnership workshop.
